Wine is considered one of the favorite drinks of Armenians.

It has been produced for thousands of years. The excavations in the cave near the village of Areni revealed that Armenia has been engaged in winemaking for more than 6,000 years. As a result, archeologists found clay vessels for fermentation and storage, grape seeds and cups.
