Gata from “Gata Pandok” is now available in new packaging

For many years, “GATA PANDOK,” being a popular and beloved place, amazes both foreigners and locals not only with its dishes but also with its gata. Gata is an Armenian national pastry, widespread both in Armenia and among the Armenian diaspora. In Armenia, there are many variations of gata. It comes in different shapes and sizes. Traditionally, gata was baked in a tandoor, but now it is also baked in ovens. Gata can be either round or in pieces. The dough is rolled out, sprinkled with filling across the entire surface, then rolled into a cylindrical shape and cut with a knife, sometimes with a decorative knife, into beautiful pieces. To ensure a glossy finish, the gata is brushed with an egg yolk mixed with milk or a strong black tea infusion.

Our gatas not only stand out for their unparalleled taste but also for their presentation and packaging, which are carefully tailored to the luxurious style of your event.

We make our gatas using only high-quality ingredients, ensuring not only a delicate and sweet taste but also the elegance needed for a celebration. Each piece shines with a blend of our craftsmanship and refinement.

Our gata is not just a part of Armenian culture, but also a flavorful experience that conveys the warmth and hospitality of Armenian cuisine. Whether in Armenia or abroad, our gata remains a beloved choice, becoming a part of the memories that people carry with them around the world.

Our gata recipe comes from times when everything was made with love and patience in family homes. Our grandmothers preserved it over the years, passing down the secrets of the recipe to us. Today, we continue to prepare these gatas with the same care and delicacy, maintaining traditions and harmony.

Recipes handed down through generations have one important feature—there is always something that does not change. It is the amount of love and care that goes into every piece of gata. This is why our gatas have an incomparable taste, full of traditional spirit.

Our gatas are not just a sweet treat on the table, but also a small story that lives in each piece. We lovingly pass on the legacy of our grandmothers so that you can enjoy the taste and warmth of our traditions as it was many years ago.

At GATA PANDOK, we prepare not only traditional gata but also varieties with unique additions such as walnuts, apricots, lemon, and prunes.

And, of course, the much-anticipated news: from now on, you can purchase gata made with the Armenian spirit from GATA PANDOK not only at our shop but also at the GOURMENIA and EVRIKA supermarket chains.
